A program for discovering errors in the contents of a given database.
WizRule reads a dataset and establishes the 'rules' that are apparent within the data.
The user has control of certain settings that help to filter out 'false positives' and rules that have a lower probability of being accurate.
Having established the 'rules' WizRule identifies the exceptions for further investigation. The 'rules' themselves may highlight unexpected relationships recorded within the data.
Example:
All invoices to a certain customer are 'normally' (say 95% of the time) are assigned / entered by Sales Rep 108 (this would a typical 'rule') however, within the data there are 3 instances where the assigned Sales Rep is 112 on an invoice to the same customer (this would be an example of a deviation or exception).
WizRule would first identify such a rule based on an examination of the data, inform the user of the rules 'likelihood' and then list the invoices that deviate for further investigation.
